Quantitative Research Assistant for Stockholm office


We are looking for a student to join our impact assessment and strategy team in Stockholm as a research assistant. Ideal candidates should have a strong profile in quantitative methods and an aspiration to pursue a career in consulting. 

As a research assistant you will support our consultants in data collection, quantitative analysis, and result compilation. We are a small and dynamic team and as a student assistant you will gain hands on experience from the day-to-day job as a consultant. You will contribute to the analysis in a range of economic and societal issues within the public, private and philanthropic sectors. 

Ideal candidates should be in their master’s in social sciences (economics, anthropology, business, politics etc.).  Candidates should have a strong focus on quantitative methods (econometrics, statistics, data science etc.) and an interest to apply their methodological knowledge to real world problems. 

To be successful in this position, you need to be able to communicate effectively in both Swedish and English. As a person, you are intellectually curious, self-motivated and a good team player. 

Anticipated workload
- During semesters: 25-50%
- During summer holidays: 50-100%

Data collection and quantitative methods (econometrics/data analysis in R, Python, and Excel).
Oral, written, and visual presentation of results (in PowerPoint) and creating reports.
Writing proposals to clients and assisting in our sales process.
Complement our qualitative consultants with your skills within quantitative methods.
Contribute to a positive office and work culture.  


  • Currently studying economics, social sciences or similar with a strong quantitative profile
  • Interested in working with evaluations and data analysis used in policy-making or strategic decision-making processes
  • Methodologically skilled and with a structured workflow
  • Experienced within the field e.g. from relevant part time jobs or extracurricular activities
  • Thriving in an environment with varied and fast paced tasks
  • Communicating communicate effectively in both Swedish and English
